NB Power replaces its low-income program with the $30M Enhanced Energy Saving Program, targeting 40,000 homes
NB Power has retired its existing low-income efficiency program and replaced it with the Enhanced Energy Saving Program, backed by $30 million over three years. Eligibility is set at combined household income below $70,000. Qualifying households receive free heat pumps where the home is heated by electric baseboards, or insulation regardless of heating fuel. The program is expected to reach 40,000 homes.
